Ushebti of Mutenipet from the Ramesseum (M461). Third Intermediate Period, 22nd Dynasty. From Quibell’s excavations of the Ramesseum 1896. H: 115 mm. Aquired: Galerie G. Puhze, Freiburg A mummiform worker ushebti in blue faience. The front side is molded and the back is flat. The facial features are rather faint with the details to the eyes and eyebrows in black. The headband and hoes are also painted black. There is no basket on the backside of this figure. The arms are shown crossed left over right in the molded detail. The single vertical column of hieroglyphs facing right runs down the lower front side of the figure and is unframed. The inscription reads ‘Mutenipet justified’. Intact.
