Three Coffin fragments Third Inermediate Period 21 st Dynasty (3)

Three Coffin fragments: 1. Coffin fragment in wood with polychrome decoration over yellow on outside and a white gesso wash which is undecorated on the inside. A peg is visible on one edge. The front surface shows a vertical line of hieroglyphs which likely ran down the lower front of the coffin as it bears a (partial) identification of the owner of the coffin: ( Words spoken by Osiris,...) the Lord of Eternety, King of the Living, the Lady of the House Mut- (...justified). L 20.5 cm. 2. Coffin or mummy.board fragment in wood with polychrome decoration over yellow on outside. part of a larger scene showing a deity with spread wings, of which the right arm and wing are remaining. The hand is holding an ankh-sign. A smaller winged deity is shown with spread wings above in protectionof an eye of Horus facing right. Two peg holes in wood remaining. L 17,5 cm. 3.
