Two ushebtis of the priest Pauseramun Third Intermediate Period 22 nd Dynasty (2)

A mummiform ushebti in fired clay painted greenish-blue in imitation of faience. The arms are shown crossed over the breast - each holding a hoe. Details to the eyes, basket, hoes and inscriptian in black. The inscription reads " Illuminate the Osiris, the god,s father of Amun, Pa-user-Imn, justified". Broken and repaiered across lower legs. Old inscription on reverse. " Petrie Coll. XXll Dyn". H 11,5 cm . A mummyform ushebti in fired clay with traces of green paint and details painted black. A vertical line of hieroglyphs down the front reads " Illuminate the osiris, the god`s father of Amun, Pa -user-Imn, justified". Clay with traces of greenish slip. Intact with minor wear. Ex Cristies lot ll 44 25/10/07, English collection acquired i the 1950`s.
