Ushebti of Mutenipet from the Ramesseum (M15). Third Intermediate Period, 22nd Dynasty. From Quibell’s excavations of the Ramesseum 1896 H: 10cm. Aquired: Charles Ede Ltd, London 1988 A mummiform worker ushebti in blue faience with details to fillet, eyes, hoes, basket and inscription in black. The single column of hieroglyphs reads ‘I am Mutenipet, justified’. The final glyph is of unknown definition, but seems to be a title used for deceased women, similar to maa-kheru, and is usually translated ‘justified’.
