The Blade tribute showed ran April - August 2011. BLADE, Steven Ogburn, was born in 1957 in The Bronx, New York, where he still lives and works. In 1972, Blade began to participate to the Graffiti movement, painting postal trucks and buses. Shortly after he starts to paint subway trains. Member of the originar crew of TC5, stands for The Crazy five, having raigned the longest on the 2 and 5 lines, which pass through New York, from the Bronx to Brooklyn. Blade developed his own style. Lee Quinones recognizes in Blade a style which has influence him own works. Blade has never worked "Wild Style" letters, his talent is based on the originality of his letterings, with had incredibly imaginative forms.
