Inkunabula: Augustinus (Saint) De vita Christiana [....]. [No date, no signature, but [Mainz]: Johann Fust & Peter Schoeffer, [c. 1470/75]. 8vo. Measure of sheet: 20,3 x 12,8 cm. 17 leaves. Long lines, 28 to a full page. No colophon, but at the end the twin shields of Fust and Schoeffer, printed in red. The two initial letters are illuminated in colour with a flowing, filigree tracery in gold leaf. Paragraph spacings throughout in blue and red. With 4 marginal annotations in an early - possibly contemporary hand, ink faded. Old book plate of (Ex Musæo) Huth on inner end paper. Bound in fine full brown morocco, all edges gilt (F. Bedford).
